Yard manager Martyn Johnson tells us more about the new series:

‘We are absolutely delighted to have won the November Equo sponsorship prize of £500.

We have it earmarked for our unaffiliated showjumping series at Alnwick Ford Equestrian, which starts in early 2016. More information on the ‘EQUO Showjumping Series’ can be found on our website – www.alnwickfordequestrian.co.uk along with the schedule.

We have been using Equo’s event entry system for around four months now and have found it a great tool. It has very much helped me as an organiser and we have also had great feedback from our competitors.’

The new unaffailated showjumping series will take place over the next four months, starting in Janaury. It has four legs, with four different level leagues. Points can be collected at each show across two classes for each league.

The four leg series dates are: Sunday 10 January, Wednesday 17 February (half-term), Sunday 13 March and Sunday 10 April.

There is a £140 prize pot for each league, with prizes of: 1st £50, 2nd £40, 3rd £30, 4th £20.
