We are pleased to announce that Field House Equestrian Centre have won January’s £500 Equo sponsorship package. We spoke to Sarah Critchlow to find out more about Field House:

Field House is a family run business located in beautiful Staffordshire countryside and easily accessible via the B5017. Mr and Mrs Snow first established Field House as a competition centre in the 1970’s. As a business Field House is constantly striving to upgrade all facilities and offer more services. There are currently two indoor arenas and three outdoor arenas, including a small cross-country loop, all with the latest Andrews Bowen pro wax surfaces.

Field House caters for three main disciplines within the equestrian industry: British Showjumping, British Dressage and British Eventing. Unaffiliated competitions are also a mainstay of their busy schedule. Field House offers competitions and classes for all levels, from 50cm unaffiliated showjumping tracks to encourage novices, up to 1.40m courses for the professionals on the midweek Tuesday shows. Dressage opportunities include walk and trot tests on the unaffiliated days and run up to Grand Prix on the British Dressage schedules. All events can be entered online via Equo.

Between the 22 and 24 April Field House has been given the prestige of holding a British Showjumping Talent Seeker qualifier, incorporating the seven-year-old horse championship qualifier. This is a British Showjumping competition for young horses, where the top four horses qualify for the Horse of the Year Show 2016. Field House are aiming to structure their first three day show around this qualifier and include classes for all senior British Showjumping members, as well as including other supporting young horse classes.

We are thrilled to win the Equo sponsorship competition, meaning that we can improve this special weekend. As a result of this amazing opportunity we will be able to provide special rosettes and good prize money for the young horse classes, with the aim of encouraging the correct production of young horses within British Showjumping.

Field House is very grateful for this sponsorship, which will hugely benefit the young horse producers.

After the days jumping on the 23 April Field House are holding a hog roast to support the air ambulance. Spectators are welcome over the weekend and to the hog roast in the evening.

Would you like to be in with the chance of winning this package?
