Horse & Hound has launched its inaugural Horse & Hound Awards, culminating in an awards ceremony on 27 October at Ascot Racecourse.

Horse & Hound Award winners will be both nominated and voted for by you our readers. Anyone is welcome to nominate the individual; group or horse they feel deserves national recognition for his or her endeavours.

Equo are extremely excited to sponsor the Equo Events Volunteer of the Year Award. This recognises the sacrifice made by this volunteer to enable countless others to enjoy their sport or profession week in, week out.

Nominations can be made by clicking on the awards name, or by completing and sending the coupon found in 4 August issue of Horse & Hound. Following the close of nominations on 22 August, the H&H judging panel will decide a shortlist of contenders.

On 15 September, H&H will announce the shortlisted candidates in each category, sharing their stories both in the magazine and online and welcoming you once again to vote for your winner either online or by post, with voting closing on 29 September.

The award winners will be revealed at the Horse & Hound Awards dinner and ceremony on 27 October at Ascot Racecourse, to which all those shortlisted will of course be invited.
